Canonical is excited to announce that Engineering Group, leading Italian software and service company that manages and develops SpagoBI suite, has joined the Charm Partner Programme.

Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme helps solution providers make best use of Canonical’s universal service modeling tool, Juju; enabling instant workload deployment, integration, and scaling on virtually any public or private cloud, as well as bare metal, at the click of a button. The Juju Charm Store has over 300 cloud based applications ready for use.

Grazia Cazzin, SpagoBI project leader and SpagoBI Labs Director at Engineering Group, says, “We are very excited about joining Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme, which gives added value to the comprehensive Big Data and Business Analytics offering provided by SpagoBI suite. This partnership, involving two key actors in the open source domain, enables users to build and deploy their SpagoBI installations on different readymade Cloud environments with a few clicks. We are proud at joining and supporting Juju an innovative and powerful tool gathering several leading companies in the ICT field in an international and vibrant ecosystem.”

Samuel Cozannet, who leads Big Data business development at Canonical, says, “SpagoBI is the reference open source suite for Big Data and Business Analytics. Over time, Engineering Group has extended the very meaning of BI to add the goodness of Big Data analytics into its core offering. They join the Charm Partner Programme today to offer endtoend vertical solutions modelled with Juju and ready to use on every public and private cloud. We are looking forward to adding these to our portfolio and offer more analytics options for users of Juju and Ubuntu.”
