hSenid’s Telco Application Platform available in the Charm Store

The hSenid Cloud Telco Application Platform (Cloud TAP) is now available in Canonical’s Juju Charm Store. The Charm works with Juju from Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu. Juju allows developers to design their application architecture like they would on a virtual whiteboard, with boxes for services, and lines to connect them. The Juju Charm Store has over 300 cloud based applications ready to be deployed, scaled and managed over most public and private clouds, or bare metal.

Cloud TAP is an end-to-end, self-service platform for both developers and non-developers. It allows them to create and market diverse Telco applications for individual or business needs. Cloud TAP makes it easy to build a complete mobile ecosystem by exposing Telco services via a rich set of Telco APIs. Some of the APIs that are being exposed through TAP include SMS, USSD, Charging, In-App Purchasing and LBS.

“Being part of the Juju Charm Store means Cloud TAP is accessible to more businesses in more industries than ever before. Our experience tells us telcos are looking for the easiest, most cost-effective way to deploy new, revenue-rich services. Juju Charms make it quick and easy to deploy a complete, customer-ready mobile ecosystem,” said Balathasan Sayanthan, COO at hSenid.

“Cloud TAP is one of the fastest growing Telco API management platform in the market place. It becomes another telecom application that Canonical offers with our partner hSenid as a Juju Charm. Having hSenid is another example of Canonical’s leadership in Telecom. The Cloud TAP Charm working with Juju will allow it to be deployed and launched quickly, Cloud TAP can also be scaled up as and when needed.” said John Zannos, VP of Cloud Alliances at Canonical.

hSenid is a member of Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme, which helps solution providers make best use of Canonical’s cloud orchestration tool, Juju; enabling instant workload deployment, integration, and scaling at the click of a button. Juju makes it easy to deliver complete solutions in minutes, on virtually any public or private cloud.
