Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Pre-installed in some regions with a custom Ubuntu image that takes advantage of the system's hardware features and may include additional software. Standard images of Ubuntu may not work well, or at all.

The hardware side of the touchscreen works as expected, but there are several issues in the software stack at the moment:

• Touchscreen events are handled as mouse events, which impacts multitouch events (pinch to zoom, 2 fingers to rotate, etc.) in some applications
• Double tap requires very precise input: this is probably due to the previous issue. Using the included pen is more precise and generally works better than the fingers.
• GTK4 windows cannot be drag and dropped

Canonical is working on addressing these issues and issuing a fix for them.

The fingerprint reader is not supported on this hardware
